Junior Training Update

11 Aug 2019

On Sunday evening we had a very busy junior training session at Splashpoint when the pool was used by over 20 juniors including a number from Drenched who are our associate mini polo club.

This was another good illustration of how the development program is working and to have such good numbers at training in mid-August indicates that we are doing something right!

Drenched, which was started by Worthing senior player Matt White, continue to go from strength to strength and as the boys and girls progress, a good number of them are now moving into the Worthing development program. Drenched also have exciting plans to potentially take a team to the 2020 Habawaba mini water polo festival that will take place in Italy and this is the biggest event of this type that is played anywhere in the world. This ambitious plan will see Drenched be the first team from the UK to ever play in this annual event.
